What I Wore--Broken Wrist Edition

I broke my wrist on August 25. It's not a long story. I fell down. It happens. I had one, of two, surgeries a couple of weeks ago and now I finally have a real cast. It's purple. Not because purple is my favorite color, but because purple casts are all the rage for fall.

See how stylish I am even with a cast passed my elbow?

The Details--Western Shirt--GAP $4.98. Skirt--Salvation Army Bag Sale $0.10. Boots--Thrift $4.98

This is the first bone I've ever broken, so getting dressed has become quite a challenge. Any tips would be great!

These pictures were taken at the yarn bombing event at Wichita State University. My mother knits (I don't) and she helped with the event. WSU has an amazing sculpture garden and all the pieces were really neat. Below are some of my favorite pieces:

I hope all of you are well, Dear Readers, and have not broken any bones!

Cheers--
Chandra
